All About Carob

Carob is consider safe for dogs and is often used as a dog-friendly alternative to chocolate. This is the ingriednts we use in most of our muffins. Here are some reasons why carob is safe and suitable for dogs. 

  1. No Theobromine: A compund found in chocoale that is toxic to dogs. Theobormine is known to affect a dogs central nervous system, which can cause symptoms like increased heart rate, restlessness, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. . . . 
  2. Digestibility: Carob is easily digestible for dogs. Its natural fiber can help support healthy digestion and regulate bowel movements.
